Thousands of broken leaves are silently breaking free into the emptied air
toss and turning into every direction the gesture takes.
At this moment, they have no control,
they only rise dead into the living sky.
Everyone is pointing up into the sky.
Leaves lining up,
scattered like dim broken glass.
Little kids letting go of their balloons
trying to make it reach to the pile.
I hear awing, and gasping over the sound of loud, crumbling paper.
People taking photos,
idiots throwing rocks,
and I, appreciating the neat, magnificent performance in the sky.
Hundreds of questions overflowed that very second from the basics,
when, where, why and how.
Where ever they come from
it doesn't matter because
the shattered pieces that they are,
now comes together as one.

WOW! This is good.
Hailey, I need to ask a question. Do you write in English or in Korean (and my computer translates it?). I think you are a very intelligent young woman, and I am curious to know which language you use most often.
xoxoxo
