Before the sun ever gets through those clouds

before the sun ever reaches through my windows

before the sun ever greets the moon goodnight

Before the sun chases away the stars

Before the sun dries up all the rain

Before the sun brings light into dark

and just right before when the sun is about to hatch,

the sun rises before anything else in our eyes

minute by minute

second by second

you wait,

You never run out of patience
